KANPUR: As the closure of educational institutions were announced owing to the coronavirus spreading fast, the examinees appearing at Kanpur University desired to know whether the scheduled date of their B. Com. Part II examinations has been postponed. But nothing as such has taken place, according to the available information.
The examinations are going to be held from Monday( March 16).
Commonly examinees attempt to gain some extra time prior to the examination day and this very urge makes them feel so.
Expressing similar views, one reacted that the examinees who failed to prepare properly used to be carrying such an irresponsible notion.
It is not only limited with the male students but the girls also pursue such kind of thinking. One girl examinee was overheard asking her friend about the change in the examination date.
Meanwhile, the state govt on Sunday informed that higher education examinations will take place as per schedule."Any exams in higher education institutions between Mar 16th to 22nd will take place as scheduled." However, if no exam was scheduled in an institute during this period, that institute will remain closed., said Monika Garg, principal secretary, higher education department.
