Kanpur: Coronavirus has gripped common people's minds intensely. This is evidently clear from the fact of their confinement in the respective houses. A group of residents pointed out that they were compelled to follow precautions whatever they can possibly do while reacting on the query regarding steps pursued by them after the spread of deadly virus here on Friday.

Though they are attending their daily jobs, the usual congregation in the marketplace has certainly lessened during the past several days. One person told that the fear of coronavirus has restricted their presence at the public places to a greater extent.

However, there was seen a strange change in people's minds. Although the attendance at the mosques remained like a usual day, the people looked a little bit worried and disturbed.

People are now trying to escape the movement on the roads. Chicken is selling at just Rs 60 per kg in Jajmau area. Despite this low rate, the consumers are showing less propensity to buy. Reasons are clear to them, said the chicken shop owner. But biryani is being consumed at the shops interestingly.
