KANPUR: Though roads are not humming with people or vehicles, insanitary conditions are prevailing all over. These situations are intolerable to the people.
When morning hours are enabling the very movement on the road, it appears that only residents are responsible to observe the cleanliness and civic body does not care.
The garbage thrown at one side of the road remains uncleaned till after 9 a.m. The flies hover on the wet garbage which can never be good for anyone.
Some people cross the road on foot so they don't like the sight and the putrefied smell coming out of the dumped wastes is never bearable in any way.
The safai workers seem to be careless in proper removal of the garbage on a daily basis. The defiled spots where the garbage is thrown near the Nai Chungi area of Jajmau requires the cleaning and sweeping every day at least during the lockdown period, demand residents adding that it happens to be wider VIP Road.
