Kanpur: Residents are at least contented that the electricity supply continues without any long-duration disruption. If there are effected power cuts, it is soon restored at the time of lockdown. The maximum temperature remained at 38 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
The residents do not irritate at some kind of minor flaws in inverter because of the continued power supply, said the people. Still, they do not remain free of fear as the electricians are not available these tough times. They only beg of no major defect either at home supply or technical faults at the power sub-station level.
One resident told how electrician attended the complaint noted to him three days earlier. But the electrician's arrival failed to rectify the fault without the required pin for the switch box. What he did was only located the fault that is why the supply inside the house was tripping again and again.
He returned with this assurance that he would be present with the appliance after April 15th of the month. So the suffering would be cured after several days, the resident thought patiently. Others suggested him to bear with the existing situation.
