India: People feel air of respite amid relaxations in morning

KANPUR: Complete lockdown has been effective in different areas of Jajmau. During the morning time, people's activity and movement remain visible. Medicine shops, petrol pumps, mobile recharge kiosks are opened. On the roads,  vegetable vendors along with fruits sellers also appear.

Moving from Nai Chungi road to Lal Bangla road in the morning hours it has been found that the roadside shops were totally closed. On one crossing medical stores were opened. The numbers of the stores were not less than four. While on another side the patients were waiting for a check-up. Here one or two vegetable carts were ready. Farther, there was another crossing where barricading on one way of the road was somehow restricting the vehicles' movement. A little ahead of the road was the petrol pump filling the tank of the two-wheelers? But what irked the vehicle owners was the closure of air filling facility.

The shops on the road were entirely shut down and turning towards another narrower road there were various carts selling vegetables and fruits. On this spot, people were standing. There was partial quietness and this situation prevailed till the wider main road. It was here the mobile charging facility was available. People reacted that there was a relief despite restrictions due to the lockdown.
