India: Are economical electric vehicles really the future?

Kanpur: Are electric vehicles really the future? Yes, it appears so. Even the report of the Bloomberg New Energy Finance approves it if we carefully read the trends in this sphere. It shows a long term contemplated chart.

It will hit 10% of the global electric passenger vehicles' sales up to the year 2025 with that number rising to 28% in the year 2030 and 58% in the year 2040, the report said.

According to another study, currently, the EVs make up 3% of the global car sales.

Perhaps this might have motivated the Smart City project planners to care for the installation of the e-charging stations in the coming years.

This business city has also been placed among the state's eight cities to have at least one low charging station for electric vehicles.

Environment-friendly, low-priced and pollution-free the electric vehicles will acquire its popularity, as is expected.

Uttar Pradesh Expressway Development Authority has been selected as the State Nodal Agency for executing the EV mobility initiative. Kanpur will have as many as 25 charging stations.
