India: People rush to cull petrol as tanker turns upside down

Kanpur: There was a competition to rob petrol flowing freely from a damaged tanker capsized on the highway near Barra on Friday morning.

The police used mild force to quell them away. The driver and the helper got injured badly. Both were sent to the Hallet hospital.

According to the reports, a tanker was coming from the filling station at Bhauti. Suddenly the tanker near Barra bypass elevated highway lost its control and hit a truck. Ultimately it banged with the bridge safety wall. As a result, the tanker turned upside down.

Conducting the duty swiftly the police stopped the traffic on both the lanes of the bridge. This resulted in a massive jam on the bridge.

The police got the injured admitted to the hospital and removed the people who were collected there to fill the petrol into the bottle or can or whatever pot they got at the moment.

A fire tender was also called to deal with the shocking condition.
