Kanpur: There is absolutely no relief in the fee structure of schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education in the academic year 2021-22.
Not only the fee amount has been raised but the facility of monthly deposit of fee has also been snatched from the parents.
When the classes are being run online, what is the justification for charging heavy amounts as a fee and not giving a chance to pay a monthly fee?
It will of course be a big relief to the patents if the parents were allowed to deposit the fee month-wise.
A few parents recently approached the e-care office of one senior secondary school, the lady on phone replied that the fee for one month could be deposited at the school office. But the office clerks outrightly ignored and advised them to deposit a quarterly fee.
How unkind were the school authorities look in refusal of a one-month fee? They did not realise the distress of the parents in depositing the heavy amount of the quarterly fee.
Parents were already expending an extra amount on the net charging and buying a new set of mobile, but the school authorities were not consoling them by some concessions either in fee or another way, complain the parents.
