Kanpur: Keeping in view of President's visit to Kanpur Dehat the Central station is gearing up to receive the very, very important dignitary in the coming days. It is said that President's visit will take place on Jun 25.
VIP portico way on the Cantt side of the Central station will be opened now. It has been decided to bring the vehicles of the guests up to the portico.
Insanitation spreading in and around the cantt side platform and circulating area will also be cleaned.
A strong resentment was expressed by the GM, NCR over the carelessness. Not only this but the broken signboard of the railway station near the Cantt side RPF police station will also be renovated.
The sitting bench was also found to have cracked near the same spot. The hanging electric wires will also be perfectly fastened.
So far there is no entry of vehicles without proper checking on the railway station. GRP and RPF personnel are stationed on both the sides___city and cantt__of the station. The intelligence team including LIU remains quite active. The CCTV cameras are also put on supervision, the RPF control room monitors the footage.
