Kanpur: Jam in front of Hallet hospital will not end before a fortnight. It could be more but it is yet not defined. The barricading has been put on there. This problem has occurred due to the ongoing work on the metro rail project.
The metro project is underway these days in the city. Slightly turning via medical college the metro rail will pass through the gate of the medical college.
It is presumed that a separate kind of pillar and pier cap is being moulded to protect the medical stores. Usually, the round pillars are constructed but rectangular pillars are to be constructed for this purpose.
It is reported that the pier caps will be cast on the spot. Casting yard will not be used. The U-shaped girder will be placed on the cantilevers.
After completion of the work, the vehicle users will secure two-metre extra space to move on. The barricading is supposed to be removed in a month.
