Kanpur: Does it not look odd if the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) and the Municipal Commissioner get tangled in the road jam?
The Closed Circuit Camera is supposed to be installed there but no apt solution looks imminent. The two most senior officers caught up in the unmanaged traffic on the road on Saturday.
The reason was very simple yet tricky. A roadways bus of Fazalganj Bus Depot was parked in the middle of the road. It was reported that the bus was parked before one hundred meters from the depot. Returning from Agra the bus developed some sort of snag in its engine.
Despite so many attempts, the bus could not start. As the bus was stopped on the road the jam was about to bring around. The Tatmil crossing was full of jams from one to another end within a short time.
Meanwhile, the Nagar Ayukt and the DCP (traffic) have to face a worse situation. On getting information TSI and other staff reached on the spot. The force was applied to push the big bus on one side of the road.
Thus, the jam cleared and officers passed away. It appears that the city's traffic remains in a perpetual jam. A government department bus causes trouble to two government officers.
