HEBRON, Aug 26 (NNN-PNN) – On Tuesday at dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Balata refugee camp, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and killed a child, identified as Emad Hashash, 15, while he was on the rooftop of his home.
Israeli soldiers then demolished, yesterday, a car repair workshop, in the al-Harayeq area, at the southern entrance of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses said, several army jeeps, accompanied by bulldozers, invaded the area after isolating it.
They added that, the soldiers demolished the 200-square-metre car repair facility, owned by Palestinians from the local al-‘Oweiwi family.
The army claimed the facility, licensed by the City Council of Hebron, did not receive a permit from the so-called “Civil Administration Office, run by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank.
In related news, several Israeli army jeeps invaded Tammoun town, south-east of Tubas, in northeastern West Bank, before storming a home and violently searching it.
The invasion led to protests, before the soldiers fired several rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted, at dawn yesterday, a young Palestinian man from Hebron.
In related news, the soldiers abducted four young Palestinian men from Beit Fajjar and Husan towns, near Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
In the Gaza Strip, medical sources at the Shifa Medical Centre, west of Gaza city, reported yesterday morning, a young Palestinian man, identified as Osama Khaled D’eij, 32, died from serious wounds he suffered on Saturday, Aug 21, after Israeli soldiers shot him with live bullet.
