The Uttarakhand government has taken up the new challenge to sell urine of 26 species of cow, named Badri.
The urine of this variety of cows found in the interior areas of the state has a richer herbal residue content compared to that from cows found in the plains. And the idea is to use the urine in manufacturing ayurvedic medicines. Ayurvedic chemists vouch for the medicinal properties of distilled cow urine.
