Kanpur: As many as 16 trains have been cancelled or diverted as the single line section will be blocked for the movement of trains till September 28.
Giving information about this news, Deepak Kumar, Chief Information Officer, Northern Railways, said several trains have been cancelled given the blockage.
Operations of 16 trains will be stopped. Apart from this, several trains including the Lucknow LTT Special will run on diverted routes during this period.
Jhansi-Kanpur single train line has to undergo non-interlocking interventions for the intended track doubling project, between the two stations coming on this route.
The passengers will have to bear the difficulty in view of the work on the route.
