Kanpur: The city has been maintaining its name among the list of 15 districts in Uttar Pradesh for deaths in accidents. It comes with a total of 563 accidents.
This figure puts it remains on the top position undoubtedly. This negative tendency continues for the last four years.
According to the news reports the situation does not change even after the awareness programmes.

Strangely enough, more than 38% of black spots are related to these fifteen districts.
In all the above-mentioned tally of the UP districts, the death toll was reported at 34.4% in the last year of 2020.
What remains worth pondering is that the reform activities bring no impressive shift in such a terrible trend existing for the seven years.
