Kanpur: The municipal corporation has started to shine the routes through which the convoy of President will pass.
The President of India Ram Nath Kovind will stay here on November 24 and 25.
In a spot inspection on Sunday the Nagar Ayukt Shivsaran Aiyappa GN found various anomalies. He ordered authorities to rectify the encroachments, insanitation scattered all around the roads and footpaths.
Service lane stretching from Hallett hospital to Gol Chauraha was found to be in a bad condition. Further from Gol Chauraha to Rawatpur Crossing to Gita Crossing pile of rubbish was scattered on both sides of the road. Besides, encroachment was also seen. He directed officials to remove encroachment from the roadside.
Junk sellers were also found enclosing the road side along the railways boundary wall from Gita crossing to Gurudev.This would be removed too. Giving this order he issued instructions to cut down the tree branches coming too low.
There was too much insanitation prevailing on both sides of the Indira Nagar road, Vishnupuri Barrage road, Vikas Nagar upto Zoo.
Ad has been reported that the President of India will be arriving here on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Hartcourt Butler Technical University here. He will stay at Circuit House here.
