JERUSALEM, Mar 15 (NNN-PNA) – Several Israeli regime’s websites went offline yesterday, due to a large-scale cyberattack, Israeli officials said.
A denial of service (DoS) attack has been identified, on a communications provider, which resulted in the prevention of access to a number of sites, “including government sites,” the Israel National Cyber Directorate said in a statement.
The attack took place between 18:15 (16:15 GMT) and 19:30 (17:30 GMT), the statement said, adding that, all sites have been restored and gone back online.
The Hebrew-language Haaretz newspaper reported that, the websites of the Prime Minister’s Office, Interior Ministry, Health Ministry and Justice Ministry, were targeted during the attack.
