India: Sensational theft case comes to light in Kanpur zoo

Kanpur: A sensational case of theft has come to light in Kanpur Zoo here. Thieves took away a 250 kg safe kept in the Regional Forest Officer's room in the zoo.

It has been reportedly said that there was a cash of Rs 5.95 lakh in it.

Police claim to have been enquiring about nine employees. filing A report against the unknown on the complaint of the cashier of the zoo has been filed.

It has also been reported saying that one of the employees is missing.

Amin, the maintainer of Kanpur Zoo, opened the cash room for cleaning at 9 am on Friday. This room exists in the office of Regional Forest Officer Dilip Gupta.

Cashier Brijesh Kumar Kamal sits in that room. When Amin went to the room, the almirah was missing. Important files and money were kept in it.

The CCTV camera in front of the classroom was also found broken. 

Searched for the safe near the lake but could not find it. Officials say that the zoo has four walls of 15 feet all around.

There is a guard at the main exit gate. CCTV cameras have been installed.

Meanwhile, ACP Akmal Khan said that on the basis of the application received from the zoo administration, a report was registered in the theft section. The security personnel arising questioned.
