Russia: Moscow court again fines Google $47,700

(TASS) --- The Justice of the Peace of Court in Moscow’s Tagansky District again fined Google 3.5 mln rubles ($47,700) for the repeated failure of the search engine operator to perform its duties, the Court’s press service told TASS.

"By a ruling of the Justice of the Peace of Court No. 422 in Moscow’s Tagansky District, Google has been found guilty of the administrative offence under Part 2.1, Article 13.40 of the Russian Administrative Code. It [Google] has been levied with an administrative fine amounting to 3.5 mln rubles," the court said.

Russia says it expelled British warship from waters near annexed Crimea

(Reuters) --- A senior Russian security official said on Thursday that Moscow had used its navy and air force to expel a British warship, HMS Dragon, from what he described as Russian territorial waters near Russian-annexed Crimea last October.

Russia annexed the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea from Ukraine in 2014, drawing sanctions and condemnation from the West. Kyiv wants the territory back.

SOCHI, May 25. /TASS/: The trials of the latest S-500 anti-aircraft missile system are successfully nearing completion and the system is next to be supplied to the troops, Russian President Vladimir Putin said while opening a meeting with the leadership of the Defense Ministry and defense enterprises on Tuesday.

"Over 70% of surface-to-air missile regiments in the Aerospace Force have been rearmed with advanced S-400 systems. The S-500 system whose trials are successfully nearing completion is next to be delivered to the troops," Putin said.

Russia: Moscow court fines Google almost $82,000 for refusal to remove prohibited content

MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/: The justice of the peace court of Moscow’s Tagansky District fined Google 2 mln rubles ($27,270) for the refusal to remove information prohibited by Russian laws, the Court’s press service told TASS.

"Google LLC was found guilty of an administrative offense stipulated by Part 2, Article 13.41 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses, by the ruling of the justice of the peace of the judicial section No. 422 of Moscow’s Tagansky District. It was assessed an administrative fine worth 2 mln rubles," the court said.
