According to the Daily Sabah, Yasar Aydin – who owns a kebab restaurant, and local entrepreneur and space engineering student Idris Albayrak launched the eponymous Adana kebab into the stratosphere, becoming Turkey's "first export to space".

The two deaths come a day after three Palestinians were killed in clashes with Israeli troops, who have been patrolling the West Bank and making arrests following an outburst of attacks in Israel that has killed 14 people in recent weeks.
13 April 2022; MEMO: Official data showed that Tunisia's trade deficit has ballooned, reaching 4.3 billion dinars ($1.42 billion) during the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 40.2 per cent on an annual basis.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Tunisian Institute of Statistics said that the trade deficit was in the range of 3.06 billion dinars ($1.01 billion) in the first quarter of 2021.
13 April 2022; MEMO: Turkey's Central Bank shared a plan to increase the rate at which exporters must convert their hard currency revenue into lira to 40 per cent, from 25 per cent, to tackle high inflation in the country, Bloomberg reports.

14 April 2022; MEMO: Secretary of State Antony Blinken apologised to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) last month for the US response to attacks on the emirates from Yemen's Houthi rebels, according to a report published Wednesday.
Anadolu Agency reported that Blinken issued the mea culpa to Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan during a meeting last month in Morocco, the Axios news website reported.
14 April 2022; MEMO: Saudi Arabia and Kuwait yesterday reiterated a call for Iran to join negotiations on defining the eastern boundary of the Dorra gas field.
"Saudi Arabia and … Kuwait affirmed their right to exploit the natural resources in this area and that they will continue working to enforce what was agreed upon on March 21, 2022," the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement reported by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
