Russia’s MiG-31 fighter intercepts Norwegian spy plane over Barents Sea

MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/: A Russian MiG-31 fighter jet intercepted a Norwegian Air Force Falcon 20 reconnaissance aircraft over the Barents Sea, Russia’s National Defense Control Center reported on Wednesday.

"On April 7, 2021, Russian airspace control systems detected an air target over the territory of Norway approaching Russia’s state border. A MiG-31 fighter from the Northern Fleet’s air defense quick reaction alert forces was scrambled to identify the air target and prevent it from violating the Russian state border," the Center said in a statement.

"No. This is not a jubilee year. No foreign guests will be invited," Peskov said when asked if invitations to the Victory Parade would be sent to foreign leaders.

Covid-19: Spain plans to fully vaccinate 53 per cent of population by late July

MADRID, April 7 (NNN-AGENCIES) — Spain is accelerating its COVID-19 vaccination rollout and will have fully inoculated 25 million people by late July, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said, also confirming the end-August target of giving 70 per cent of all Spaniards their shots.

“The pace of vaccination will accelerate in April and then each month we will improve the vaccination pace from the previous month,” Sanchez told a news conference, attributing a slow start of the campaign to delivery delays by vaccine maker AstraZeneca across the European Union.

France will continue massive support for air transport sector: finance minister

“We will continue to support massively and durably the French air transport sector, the small- and medium-sized companies that work in the industry, the aerospace industry, Airbus, and the entire French industry ” Le Maire told the French Senate.
