Moscow has repeatedly complained that Western military support for Ukraine is dragging out the conflict, now in its 10th month, while risking a possible direct confrontation between Russia and the West.

Russia: European sanctions will not affect the financing of Turkish nuclear plant

28 Nov 2022; MEMO: Deputy Director-General of the Russian State Nuclear Energy Corporation (Rosatom), Kirill Komarov, announced that the EU's sanctions against Moscow will not pose a problem for financing the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant in Mersin, southern Turkiye.

This came in statements at the International Nuclear Energy Conference Atomexpo 2022 held in the Russian city of Sochi on Monday, in which Komarov explained that Akkuyu is the current largest nuclear power plant construction site in the world.

"We called on the Norwegian authorities to abandon such Russophobic actions and persecution of Russian citizens on the grounds of nationality," the ministry pointed out.

Russia and Kazakhstan want convention on Caspian Sea legal status to enter into force soon

NATO drones attempted crossing Pskov Region’s border before special military operation

MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/: NATO drones made attempts to cross the border of the Pskov Region of Russia even before the start of the special military operation, Governor of the Region Mikhail Vedernikov said.

"We have never provided extensive coverage to that but there were attempts of military unmanned aerial vehicles and other aircraft to illegally cross the border," Vedernikov said.

Ban on surrogacy for foreign nationals to be passed in December - Duma speaker

MOSCOW, November 27./TASS/: Early in December, the State Duma will adopt the decision to ban the services of surrogate mothers in Russia for foreign nationals, lower house’s Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel on Sunday.

"Surrogacy for foreign nationals should be banned. <...> It is necessary to do everything to protect children by not allowing foreigners to use the services of surrogacy. We will make this decision in early December," he blogged.
