Russia records another 12,354 coronavirus cases

MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/: Russia recorded 12,354 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, the anti-coronavirus crisis center said on Sunday. The total number of cases has reached 21,304,554.

As many as 744 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, down from 1,657 the day before. Hospitalizations declined in 71 regions of the country and rose in eight regions.

Moscow’s COVID-19 cases surged by 948 to 3,219,483 in the past day and St. Petersburg’s cases increased by 726 to 1,777,854.

Russia to go through with Ukraine operation despite NATO’s involvement - Kremlin

MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/: NATO has in fact got involved in the conflict in Ukraine but it is in no way affecting Russia’s goals, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Rossiya-1 on Sunday.

"In fact, NATO has got involved in the Ukrainian conflict. However, it is in no way affecting our goals. That said, the operation will continue and we will go through with it," he said in an interview with host of the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" TV program Pavel Zarubin.

MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/: Russia’s COVID-19 case tally rose by 13,384 over the past day to 21,292,200, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Saturday.

As many as 1,657 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day.

Moscow’s COVID-19 cases surged by 911 over the past day, reaching 3,218,535, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. St. Petersburg’s COVID-19 cases increased by 911 over the past day against 963 a day earlier, reaching 1,777,128.

Putin: Germany unlikely to accept gas via remaining Nord Stream 2 pipeline

Oct 14 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday Germany was unlikely to accept Russian gas from the one remaining undamaged line of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, two days after Berlin rejected his initial offer.

"A decision has not been made and it's unlikely to be made, but that's no longer our business, it's the business of our partners," he said.

MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/: Russia’s COVID-19 case tally rose by 14,736 over the past day to 21,278,816, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Friday.

A day earlier, 15,477 daily cases were recorded.

As many as 1,750 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day, down 4.1% from a day earlier. The number of hospitalized patients dropped in 43 regions, while in 33 regions the figure increased. The situation remained unchanged in nine regions.

Six or seven years ago the Americans resorted to provoking a global food crisis, achieving considerable growth in the export of its agricultural products, and used the situation in Ukraine for a redivision of the markets, which includes the goal of promoting genetically modified products," he maintained.
