Russia: Number of victims of explosion in Black Sea Fleet headquarters rises to six — governor

SEVASTOPOL, July 31. /TASS/: The number of victims of the explosion at the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet has risen to six people, governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev said on Sunday.

"There were no fatalities, six people were injured, two in moderate condition, the rest are ins stable condition," Razvozhaev said.

Russia: Chubais taken to intensive care unit in European clinic, Sobchak says

MOSCOW, July 31. /TASS/: Anatoly Chubais, the ex-CEO of Rusnano corporation and a former Russian presidential envoy, is on life support at a European clinic, Russian TV host Ksenia Sobchak said on Sunday, citing Chubais’ wife, Avdotya Smirnova.

"Chubais is in an intensive care unit. I have just spoken to Avdotya. His condition is instable. He felt sick suddenly, with weakness in his arms and legs," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

"I was taken to a European clinic with Guillian-Barre syndrome. I am in condition of medium gravity, stable," Sobchak cited Chubais.

Russian Armed Forces to get Zircon hypersonic missiles in months: Putin

MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/: Russian armed forces destroyed two US M777 howitzers near Stepnogorsk, Zaporozhye region, official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.

"Two American M777 howitzers were destroyed in the area of Stepnogorsk, Zaporozhye region. A battery of Uragan multiple launch rocket systems around the settlement of Kurdyumovka and two artillery batteries of Giatsint-B howitzers were hit," he said.

UK’s Johnson could identify as woman for NATO Secretary General race - diplomat

MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/: Outgoing UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson could identify as a woman to take part in the race for NATO Secretary Generals’ office, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on her Telegram channel Saturday.

Earlier, a TASS source in Brussels international institutions said that Johnson does not have a single chance to become a new NATO Secretary General, in particular, because he is not a woman and does not represent a new NATO member state.

OBI completes sale of business in Russia for €1 - report

MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/: Germany’s OBI signed an agreement with a group of Russian investors on sale of the six companies owning the Russian network of OBI stores, Vedomosti reported Saturday citing two sources close to the deal.

According to the report, 40% of shared of these companies will be obtained by the Max group of investment and construction companies, while 60% will be bought by businessman Joseph Liokumovich. Later, Max may sell some of the shared to "third parties," the newspaper says.
