ISTANBUL, Feb 1 (NNN-ANADOLU) – Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said, Turkey might consider launching a military operation, if the bombardments in Syria’s province of Idlib continue.

“We sincerely want stability in Syria and will not hesitate to do whatever it takes, including using military force,” Erdogan said in Ankara.

The Syrian government forces, backed by Russia, have been carrying out airstrikes in Idlib, the last stronghold of rebels in Syria, forcing civilians to leave their homes.

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Turkey may launch a military operation into Syria’s northwestern Idlib province if the situation is not resolved immediately, President Tayyip Erdogan said Friday as attacks by Russia-backed Syrian government forces risked a new wave of refugees.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s forces, backed by Russian air power, have since last week rapidly advanced on Idlib. They have taken dozens of towns, including the key city of Maarat al-Numan, upending the last major rebel-held stronghold in Syria’s nearly nine-year war.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 30 (NNN-BERNAMA) –Turkish Airlines will introduce an addition of four flights weekly into Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia as of June 9, 2020, increasing its scheduled flights to 11 times weekly.

The capital of these companies came mainly from Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia.

The two Arab states, which have had a history of animosity with Ankara over the past decade as a result of their support of opposing sides in numerous Middle East conflicts including in Syria, Egypt and Libya, have met with Greek Cyprus Foreign Minister, Nikos Christodoulides, and other officials in Athens.

ISTANBUL, Jan 29 (NNN-ANADOLU) – The Turkish Foreign Ministry, said that, the peace plan announced by U.S. President, Donald Trump, to end the conflict between Israel and Palestine, is “stillborn.”

“This plan is an annexation plan, aiming to destroy the two-state solution and seize Palestinian territories,” the ministry said, in a statement.

“Palestinian people and the land of Palestine cannot be bought off,” it added.

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkish emergency teams drilled through the rubble Monday, searching for the last two missing quake victims believed trapped beneath a collapsed building after eastern Turkey was slammed by a powerful tremor.

The magnitude 6.8 earthquake that struck Friday night killed at least 39 people and injured more than 1,600 others, authorities said. At least 45 survivors were pulled out of the rubble alive.

Erdogan canceled his scheduled attendance at the 33rd general assembly and award ceremony of Turkey's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) at Lutfi Kirdar International Convention and Exhibition Center in Istanbul.

ANKARA/ELAZIG, 26 Jan 2019; AA: The death toll from Friday's powerful earthquake in eastern Turkey rose to 35, the country’s vice president said on Sunday.

Fuat Oktay was speaking to reporters in the capital Ankara.

The 6.8-magnitude quake shook Turkey's eastern Elazig province late Friday. Tremors were also felt in neighboring countries including Syria and Georgia.

ANKARA (Reuters) - Eastern military commander Khalifa Haftar is violating Libya’s truce and so cannot be expected to respect the ceasefire called between his forces and pro-government troops, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday.

Despite efforts by Turkey and Russia, Haftar abandoned talks on a ceasefire in Moscow earlier this month and his blockade of Libyan oilfields overshadowed a summit in Berlin last week aimed at shoring up a shaky truce.
