Life paralysed in Nepal due to general strike as series of explosions kill 4 people
Kathmandu, May 27PTI/GANASHAKTI: Normal life in Nepal was paralysed on Monday due to a general strike called by an outlawed communist group, a day after a series of explosions rocked the capital Kathmandu, killing at least four people and injuring seven others.
Educational institutions and business establishments remained shut in major cities while traffic was thin due to the strike called by the CPN-Maoist to protest against the killing of its cadres during an encounter a couple of months ago.
