KANPUR: Despite cloudy weather, there is a sunny day. The air is not hot but cold and damp. This might be the reason for the minimum temperature staying at18 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

The last ten days of the third month of March signals of the spring season when the flowers are blooming best at its spectacle and trees begin to grow and reproduce. The days grow longer and the temperature in most areas become more temperate.

KANPUR: On the last day of examination of class 12th commerce stream the parents' waiting for their respective wards at the girls' college reacted quite differently. It was worth documenting.

One guardian said: "Aaj Barah Saal Ki Tapasya Puri Ho Gayi (today completes 12 years penance)." Another stated: "This college teaches English proficiently." Third one told: "Students studying at such ideal institutions do not prepare for exams under pressure."  The fourth one could not control himself in uttering that now the students would remember of their days passed at the college.

KANPUR: Very appearance of the thundering plane high in the sky during the afternoon astounded kids in Jajmau area on Friday. As the planes flew past the densely populated area they tried to fathom why it was creating a thunderous sound. They fail to understand that the planes' speed was extremely fast, even more than the speed of sound.

The kids offering Friday prayer at the mosques left the row and began to look at the sky where the planes were hovering with a thunderous sound. Their run for viewing the planes exhibited an urge hidden in the heart.

Bhopal, Jan 2 (PTI) The Congress-affiliated Seva Dal on Thursday distributed a book on Hindutva ideologue Veer Savarkar, questioning his credentials as a patriot and his reputation for valour, drawing criticism from the BJP.

The Hindi book, distributed at an ongoing camp of the Seva Dal here, was titled "Veer Savarkar, Kitne 'Veer'?" (How brave was `Veer' Savarkar?).

The book alleged that Savarkar received money from the British after he was released from Andaman's Cellular Jail.

Kanpur: Just at 1:25 in the afternoon on Tuesday the sunshine brought a smile on faces of the residents huddled behind the doors. It was not a brighter sunny day but the respite was surely there. They rushed to the open spots for getting some sun rays.

Kanpur: Like other markets, there also arranges an open market of flowers on the roadside in the Panchakki area here from morning till noon. It is a daily market where rose and marigold flowers are commonly sold in retail. The customers flock the market for buying the small-sized flowers in red and yellow. White-coloured Chrysanthemum remains available but not in ample quantity.

Kanpur: The news spread like a wildfire when a viral video of the recuperation of hidden gold like coins from a field in a village Badagaon Bheeki near Derapur in Kanpur Dehat district. The police are looking for the field's owner and the Bataidar.​​​ It is also reported that a few of the coins were even sold to a goldsmith. 

As the report regarding the coins reached the administrative level SDM Deepali Bhargava sent the police in the village.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 4 (NNN-BERNAMA) — Kazakhstan’s capital city of Nur-Sultan. previously known as Astana, is hosting the inaugural forum of Asian Countries’ Writers from today till Sept 6.

The event is aimed at strengthening the connections and development of literary and cultural ties between the countries in the Asian continent.

Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Ulyqbek Esdaulet, said the event can become a platform for the discussion of pressing issues surrounding the development of Asian literature.
