India: Crowd, noise irked Jajmau residents on Sunday

Kanpur: What pained the roadside residents in Jajmau area was an immense crowd and unbearable noise on Sunday evening onwards. A procession was being taken out on an occasion. The noise was, without doubt, more disturbing than the crowd surged on a particular day.

Troubled with the disturbance caused by the continued blaring of the loudspeakers, the residents felt if the sound was eliminated from the programme, there would not be a disturbance.

Not only this the electricity supply in the area was also disrupted. It was restored only after the procession was taken out.
