MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/: The Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Information Technologies and Mass Communications decided to restrict access to Instagram in view of calls spread for violence against Russians, including servicemen, the watchdog said on its website on Friday.

"By virtue of the requirement of the Russian Office of General Prosecutor, access to Instagram social media (owned by Meta Platforms, Inc.) will be limited on the territory of the Russian Federation," the regulator said.

March 10 (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that sanctions imposed against Russia would rebound against the West, including in the form of higher food and energy prices, and Moscow would solve its problems and emerge stronger.

"Currently, control over the situation at the Chernobyl NPP is being exercised jointly by Russian servicemen, Ukrainian specialists, the plant’s civilian personnel, and that country’s National Guard," she said, adding that Ukraine’s allegations about 20-fold radiation increase at the Chernobyl plant are not true.

MOSCOW, March 9. /TASS/: The United States of America is de facto waging an economic war against Russia, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday, commenting on the statement by US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland that from the point of view of the US "this Ukraine gambit is a strategic failure for Putin."

"The US, undoubtedly, declared an economic war against Russia and they are waging this war. Yes, de facto this is exactly what it is," the Kremlin official said.
