Turkiye launched world's first unmanned warship

11 Apr 2023; MEMO: The world's first unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) carrier was delivered to the Turkish navy yesterday, Anadolu reported.

The unmanned warship was built in Istanbul-based shipyard Sedef. It can carry helicopters, drones, land vehicles, light warcraft and personnel.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the ceremony held to receive th TCG Anadolu.

Turkey: Moscow likely to host four-party meeting of top diplomats on Syria in May — Cavusoglu

ANKARA, April 10. /TASS/: The four-side meeting between Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Russia, Syria and Iran on the Syrian issue may take place in early May in Moscow, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on TV Monday.

"The organization of the meeting at the level of foreign ministers was discussed by deputy foreign ministers earlier. Last week, we discussed it with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Currently, such meeting is planned for early May, and it will take place in Moscow," he said.

Turkey, Russia agree on need to lift fertiliser export obstacles

07 Apr 2023; MEMO: Russia and Turkey agreed during talks in Ankara on Friday that obstacles must be lifted to ensure freer Russian fertiliser and grain exports, and enable a UN-brokered deal ensuring Black Sea shipments of Ukrainian grain to be extended beyond next month, reports Reuters.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he and Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed "a failure" to implement the terms of the Black Sea grain deal.

Turkey: Erdogan calls for no more escalation between Palestine, Israel

Russia: West must remove obstacles to its grain exports

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Russia may pull out of a wartime deal that allows the export of Ukrainian grain to global markets if the West fails to remove obstacles to Russian agricultural exports, Moscow’s top diplomat suggested Friday.

The deal, which was brokered by the United Nations and Turkey in July, unblocked shipments that were stuck in Ukraine’s blockaded and mined ports, alleviating rising food prices and threat of hunger in some countries.

Russian foreign minister arrives in Turkey on visit

ANKARA, April 6. /TASS/:  Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Ankara on Thursday evening at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Lavrov is expected to discuss at length a number of energy issues, Ukraine, the grain deal, Nagorno-Karabakh as well as the dialogue between Ankara and Damascus.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that Lavrov and Cavusoglu would touch upon the security of Russians in Turkey on the eve of the tourist season.

Türkiye pushing for 1st Black Sea gas before elections

ANKARA, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Türkiye has announced that the natural gas discovered in the Black Sea will start to flow into its national grid at the end of April, putting into practice one of the country's largest energy projects ever built.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan tweeted last weekend that "The gas discovered in the Black Sea will be brought on April 20 in Filyos with a ceremony."

He was referring to the northern port city where an onshore gas processing facility has been constructed and from where gas will be connected to the national distribution system.
