All Peace Deals Will End If Netanyahu Annexes Jordan Valley: Palestinian President

RAMALLAH, Palestine, Sept 11 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, warned that, all peace agreements will end, if Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, moves to annex the occupied Jordan Valley.

Abbas said, the agreements signed with Israel shall be terminated, if the Israeli side imposes its sovereignty over the Jordan Valley, northern Dead Sea, or any parts of the Palestinian territories, occupied by Israel in 1967.

Final Words Of Saudi Journalist Khashoggi Before Death, Revealed By Turkish Paper

ANKARA, Sept 11 (NNN-ANADOLU) – Turkish newspaper, Daily Sabah, on Tuesday revealed the audio recordings of the final words of Saudi Arabian journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, who was murdered last Oct, in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

The audios were obtained by Turkey’s National Intelligence Organisation, right after the murder, and were shared with relevant Turkish authorities who carried out an investigation into the incident.

Israeli Court allows army to hold Palestinian bodies for bargaining

10 Sep 2019; MEMO: The Israeli High Court gave the Israeli army the green light on Monday to block the release of the bodies of Palestinians killed by occupation forces, Jerusalem Legal Aid and Human Rights Centre (JLAC) has revealed. The corpses will be used as bargaining chips in any future negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

India: Woman killed for dowry by in-laws in Haryana

New Delhi, Sep 9 (PTI) A 63-year-old man filed a case on Monday against the in-laws of her daughter for allegedly killing her for dowry in Rohini's Kanjhawala area, police said.

In his complaint, Lakhi Ram, a resident of Kaithal in Haryana, stated that his daughter Meena married Ajay on January 21, 2015 in Qutubgarh village.

India: ED serves a show cause notice to Amnesty International

New Delhi, Sep 10 (PTI) Human rights watchdog Amnesty International India on Tuesday denied charges of violating the foreign exchange law after it was recently served with a show cause notice by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

"Amnesty International India acknowledges that Amnesty International India Private Limited has received a show cause notice from the Enforcement Directorate."

Jordan, Tunisia Reaffirm Two-State Solution As Sole Way To End Palestinian-Israeli Conflict

AMMAN, Sept 10 (NNN-PETRA) – Jordan and Tunisia reaffirmed their stance that the two-state solution is the only way to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The two sides stressed the need to fulfil the Palestinians’ rights and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with the Arab Peace Initiative, according to a statement by Jordan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Palestinian President Says U.S. Fails To Respect International Law

RAMALLAH, Palestine, Sept 10 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, said that, the United States did not respect international law, when it moved its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

Abbas said in a speech, “We always expect the U.S. … to respect the international law.”

“But we discovered that it (the U.S.) has its own laws and legislations, and therefore, it believes that when it orders, the orders will be respected, and then it moved its embassy to Jerusalem,” he added.

Airstrikes Kill 18 Pro-Government Fighters In Eastern Syria

DAMASCUS, Sept 10 (NNN-SANA) – At least 18 pro-government fighters were killed in eastern Syria, by airstrikes after mid-night, a war monitor reported on Monday.

Unknown warplanes carried out airstrikes against Iranian-run military bases and weapon depots in the Al-Bukamal city and nearby areas in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour province in eastern Syria near the Iraqi border.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, the slain fighters were Iranians and allied fighters, noting that, the warplanes are yet to be identified.
